This role is responsible for the design of all our UX/UI across both hardware and software products. You will work closely with Product Managers and Product Developers to help raise the bar in delivering functional and eye-catching user experiences which are uniform across our product range.

Your responsibilities will include the following;

  • Conceptual eye-catching sketches during the ideation phase of the product development (without input from a design team)
  • Detailed graphical design of each element
  • Prototyping the user flow
  • Creating all the assets and information for the software development team
  • Design of product graphics for the finished product (generating symbols and artwork)

We will provide you with the tools and environment to enable you to be successful, but you will be required to bring with you the following;

  • Significant experience in UX/UI design
    • Experience in design for PC/MAC applications essential
    • Experience in design for mobile applications essential
    • Experience in design for hardware based embedded graphics ideal
    • Experience in product graphics for the finished product in different form (label, pad print, laser marking etc) 
  • An eye for design – you will be working on your own without a design team
  • The Ability to create:
    • Wireframes
    • Customer journey maps
    • Sketches and prototypes
    • Full set of graphical assets for the software development team
    • Full set of graphical assets for the mechanical development team
  • Experience with multiple design tools (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, invision, etc.)
  • The Ability to iterate quickly
