Like so many others on the planet, I previously purchased an NT1-A, marvelling at how a microphone could have such a low self-noise. Incredibly, we now have an even quieter microphone in the NT1.
so when should you use the Go? - ALWAYS if you are filming on a budget or as a one-man-show. WHEN YOU HAVE TO BE FAST - while filming with a small crew videos for the web or documentaries where time is money and you have to be flexible.
Having booked so many v/o gigs and created so many clear-as-a-bell auditions because of my superlative RØDE Podcaster, I couldn't be happier. Totally reliable, consistent, and dependable. I'm a happy camper!

I'm not going on record saying this mic is so much better than a C12 or whatever, but the honest truth is that I've never heard artists go on about how great the mic is like they have with the RØDE Classic while we've had any of those "classic" mics up.

This is a beautifully designed, easy to use piece of Australian audio engineering which faithfully captures ambient atmospheres. It would be especially useful in natural settings and at musical and sporting venues.

My sincere complements on your customer service. We love the mic! It is companies like yours that we model ours after.

Just dropped my M1 down the escalator at channel Seven, Melbourne. Bounced off 35 steel steps to the bottom… works perfectly!! God bless ya RØDE!
- John Deeks, Channel 7 Australia
I'm IN LOVE with the M1... keep up the good work. My RØDE collection makes me great
Have to say the RØDE Videomic Pro is a superb bit of kit. Fixes all the issues I have with hum on Canon DSLRs!
