Aparichito (Stranger) I My Rode Reel 2019 I Bengali Short Film

Watch the Behind The Scenes:

We shot Aparichito using the Sony A6300 with only a Sigma 30mm lens. We wanted to use the street lights as the only source of light. Shoot got stalled due to heavy rain multiple times. We had to wait it out but the plan was to use the reflection of the wet roads, so it was worth the wait. We used the Rode VideoMic Pro to record environment sounds and also for the dialogue reference. The dubbing was done using a Rode NT2-A. Prosthetics played an important role in the film and the entire burn't make up took 3 hours to do. The sound design uses minimal elements and mainly diegetic sounds to bring out the essence of the movie.
