The Cursed Half | My Rode Reel 2019 | Diffraction Films

Watch the Behind The Scenes:

The cursed half was shot on Fujifilm Xt3 along with rode video mic go and zoom H5 as our favourite sound recording setup. The majority of the movie is shot on our homemade 24mm prime lens (thats why you can see those lens flares).
The location in the film is an abandoned house in the middle of the city.
There are two VFX shots in our film, firstly the last scene, where you can see eye replacement of the actor and wound on Vartika's Neck, secondly, while shooting we accidentally spilled lots of blood in the actor falling scene(which was impractical), so we composited the shot and replaced the floor. The post production lasted for a week, including editing, DI, orignal background score, and sfx.
