When I teach my daughters to fish, I am teaching more than hobby. I am teaching them how to enjoy and respect the outdoors, responsibility, independence, and physical activity. No matter how many fish catch, I teach them, this is not just a man’s sport, but with hard work and dedication girls can do anything they put their mind to.
For this video I used 2 different cameras to capture the video and some behind the scenes video.
I used my Sony A7iii with the HLG profile, and my Sony RX100iV for the Behind the scenes and b-roll footage.
For the Audio I used the Rode VideoMicro, VideoMic with Boom Pole, and the RodeLink wireless mic set up.
I chose to script and use a voice over for this video instead of scripting something for the kids as kids can be un-predictable. I did however choose to record specific sound effects from the fishing trip to help shape the story.
This has been a blast working with my family on a passion project to share with others.
