A guy comes to get digital files at his friend's house. Untrustworthily, he feels like something is after him. After the file transfer, something restrains him from getting out of that house. He has to face that thing alone.

The location took place in one of our members’ house which gave us plenty of time to focus on blocking shots. According to the storyboard, we planned for a 1-day shooting, but due to the rain, we needed to take 2 days for the production instead. We had 3 main source lights. Since the film takes place at night, we needed to sacrifice 1 light for the window light. We use the blind window and the outdoor tree leaves to cast a shadow onto the wall and shelf to create night and frightening mood. We didn't want to use a typical ghost, so we came up with the random ancient text design we painted on our ghost guy. The contrast of black and white paint really delivers a scary skin texture that somehow defines a mysterious characteristic of a non-typical ghost we’d say. With full control of our scene lights and settings, we can shoot the same scene in both days. Visual effects (we use After Effects) really plays a big role in the ghost game, which pulls out surprises and unusualness.
