A Rode VideoMicro Compact On-Camera Microphone was used for the audio, while a Canon EOS 70D DSLR camera was used for filming. The short film was edited on Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017 along with Adobe Audition CC 2017. The principle cinematography was filmed in Tigard, Oregon at Bonita Park to provide a suburban and amateur sports feel to the character development. The behind the scenes footage was filmed through a Canon M5 without the use of a Rode Microphone as the VideoMicro was already in use for the main filming. Without the Rode mic, the internal microphone from the camera does not protect the audio from the wind during the recording.
Sound control was a difficult part of filming due to the location because the primary filming space was at a public park. Children were running around playing football. Others were using the basketball court as well as geese flying by causing more external noise.
