It can, but only if the feature film is your work and has been made within the last year. The best idea is to create a wholly original trailer for a fictional film: the trailer really IS the movie. You cannot cut a trailer from any other film, like say, Avengers: Endgame.

Full Sail degree programs can be started monthly throughout the year, not just in the fall, which allows for real flexibility for the winners. You must begin your program within 2 years of the winners' announcement on September 26, 2019.
No. Each scholarship must be used in full by one person, and that person must be listed as a member of the crew on the winner’s and runner up’s entries.
Unfortunately, the scholarships are not available to existing Full Sail students, in order to prevent any perceived judging biases, and cannot be used as payment towards any existing tuition fees. However, we do encourage all existing students of Full Sail to enter My RØDE Reel.

The cost of a computer and software – primarily the Project LaunchBox™ technology package – is assessed through a separate fee. Project LaunchBox™ provides students with a laptop computer and media creation software at an educational discount.
After applying to Full Sail University, you may request credit for previous education. To be eligible for transfer credit, you must have successfully completed courses from another accredited postsecondary educational institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education similar in scope and content to Full Sail courses and received a grade of C or better. Official transcripts will be reviewed by the Registrar’s office for approval or denial of transfer credits.
The Full Sail scholarships can be transferred to any person who is listed as a member of your film crew at the time when you submit your film. So make sure you include your full crew details when you submit your entry.
Yes, the scholarship can be used towards any online or campus based degree program. Acceptance into any degree program at Full Sail is subject to the normal Full Sail University admissions requirements. Full Sail will help the winners to identify suitable programs they would be able to pursue. If the winners are unable to meet the admissions requirements for any of the Full Sail degree programs, or are otherwise unable to pursue any degree programs at Full Sail University, the scholarship prizes will be rendered void.
