Using a single location, the garage of Sam Miller, the small team of Sam and Christopher Putlock made use of the Rode VideoMic and Go. The idea for "Let's Play" came from a late night FaceTime call between the two when they were discussing making a horror film. Christopher wrote the script and then the boys turned around, grabbed their friend Anthony Jimenez, and shot the film in three days. Christopher then spent the next week editing and contacted a composer who went to Sam's school, Weston Welch, who agreed to do the music.
