Garret returns from work to find his flatmate, Elliot, has inadvertently opened a gateway to hell in their oven. Together they must vanquish the demon who is trying to come through.
We decided to shoot the film on two sony a6500s and shot in 4K knowing we would output to 1080. This choice was done because we knew we would be doing a lot of reframing in the montage scene in particular.
We were very limited to time for the shoot, 4 hours, and as such needed to have pics that were versatile, compact and robust enough to be thrown every everywhere we needed them to be which included inside an oven with our demon. Due to our short time frame we had to limit what we could achieve in terms of lighting and camera movement and this meant most of our shots needed to be locked down.
