“Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful” is a quote by one of the most influential figures in 19th century England, the designer William Morris. His words are an inspiration to my friend, designer & photographer Carolyn Carter. In this film she explains the ideas and motivation behind her work and way of life.
Behind the scenes of Consciously Creative
Filmed at my friend Carolyn Carter’s house in Kings Heath, Birmingham. Mostly shot hand-held on a Sony A7sii with Sony FE lens 24-70mm. Style is informal and intimate. I used a Rode Video Mic Pro and a Rode NTG2 to record the interview.
