Love in Exile

William Allum
‘Love in Exile’ takes a look at the thousands of Britain’s that have been effectively exiled from their own country as a result of the tough new immigration rules introduced by the government several years ago for non-eu partners and spouses. The British partner must sponsor their other half’s visa by meeting strict financial and time based thresholds, increasing in difficulty with children. Failing to reach this target, thousands now find it almost impossible to return home after working abroad and finding love.
