Behind the scenes of Bob: The-Slightly-Above-Average-Life-Of-The-Paperbag-Man (who thinks he is perfect)
We film across two days with Rode NTG 4+ and the Rode Videomic pro. Our main camera will be the Canon C100 with Ninja 2. Additional camera support will be the Sony A6000, Canon 60D and even the iphone 6.
For the main scenes, there was a total of 4 locations. We filmed Day 1 in a house, followed by a public food court, a store, and finally a walkway with the iconic statue of Sir Stamford Raffles. We had to change the location due to the rain in between.
Day 2 followed up with tons of timalapses, cutaways and hyperlapses. We lost count the number of shots we used for the cutaways for Bob's mind journey. Day 2 was where we had tons of location recording with the Rode NTG 4+ and the Rode Videomic Pro. Both were recorded either to the Canon C100 or the Zoom H1.
The voiceovers were recorded all on the Rode NTG 4+.
The post stage we edited on Premiere Pro with the Prores files that were recorded on the Atomos Ninja 2. We brought to Davinci resolve for the grade. The Canon C100 was shot on C-Log with Contax Zeiss Primes and a 1/8 Black Promist.
