Aphelion Pictures

Inspired by the Parable of the Prodigal Son, a young individual runs away from his home to pursue a life of independence. The Father and the Son’s relationship is tested as they become separated, leading different lives that may very well change everything about them.

We mainly filmed in the city for two shoots. Then the last day we shot at a house in Western Sydney. Once Post Production began we took about 3 days till we were happy with the cut. Then we sent it off to our Colorist for colour grading. It was meant to take 2 days for colour grading but unfortunately we went through many technical problems such as compression issues and sound being out of sync. Eventually we got through it and we were all happy with the end result.
