How To Beat Boredom was filmed in a local office space in Warriewood Valley in Sydney's Northern Beaches. We shot on a Sony a7s camera equipped with a bunch of accessories and RODE sound equipment. On set we used a RODE NT-G2 shotgun microphone mounted in a pistol grip and a RODE micro boom pole. When we recorded the soundtrack and foley, we used a RODE NT1 condenser microphone in a sound studio connected in to a pro-tools desk.
To create the SFX we separated each clip which contained effects and used a green screen to generate a bouncing off effect. After creating a shockwave effect in Adobe After Effects we composited the shockwave between our clips to create the bouncing effect.
