超人HERO

HERO FILM

,I believe a superhero should embody a
mission and a responsibility. He holds immeasurable power but at
the same time he has to keep his identity secret. Bing unable to
express himself to others is a grievance.so,I wish to illusrate that
this grievance is everpresent Many a times,te responsibility taht most
shirk, whe you decide to take up that role,it may be accompanied by
grievances, but when you set off this hero’s journey it is this burden
and grievances that develops your inner person.

We shot this film in Ipoh, a city in Malaysia. Even as it is a developed city, Ipoh still retains much of its old town charms, making it a perfect fit for our short set in the 70s.
Due to the limited experience in designing and filming fight scene among our crew, they were done mostly based on our imagination, together with a lot of trial and error session. The role of Superman and Superman-in-student-mode were both played by the same actor. At the same time the entire crew also acted as the villains and basketball players. Although many of us weren't professional actors but we give in our 100% throughout the shooting. Especially during the fight scene of Superman, the actor was exposed under the sun for 5 hours and is required to keep his bandage dry.

Audio recording is the biggest challenge of our shoot. We were presented with a noisy environment, contributed by radio, car fixing, motorbike and cooking that surround us. We tried our best to keep the noise low, yet many circumstances were out of our control. Still, we insist to remain at the same place due to our love towards the selected venue.
